I would just like to say I really don’t care about the App not working at home ( but if I can sort it that would be fab)

It is far more useful when out and about anyway and it works every time when I’m away from home

And I also am extremely pleased with my Enyaq

I have just switched the entire power off to my house and the app is still not working

So it can’t be electric interference

Very weird

Would have to say I completely agree with both points. When I’ve been out and the car has been on charge in the open, the app has never not worked. At home in the garage it’s hit and miss even with a good WiFi connection to the car. Put it down to it needing at least some element of the mobile network signal but as it’s almost always in the garage on charge overnight, I don’t need the app to work at home.
Suggests it’s the car not the app that’s temperamental?

But for most of us, home is where you are likely to want to turn on heating to defrost the car before you leave, if the car is left outside.

I've been driving EVs for over 7 years now, and this is arguably the best feature of EVs.

I’m just trying to be positive the app is the only thing that doesn’t work so it not a massive deal really

I guess the next thing is to remove the home location for charging because I can’t think of anything else that tells the car it’s at home

I’m just out collecting an Indian takeaway now

And guess what it works perfectly…..

Version 5.0.0 of the IOS app has just come on the app store. Looks different, still getting all the same errors though :(

Mine has lost all car data. Have reinstalled the app, deleted the car and started again. Now just get an error after I enter the VIN.
Have emailed Skoda, will update when I get a reply.

From previous experiences (after an outage), the car data does seem to return by itself, so you shouldn’t need to re-input everything, even when the car seems to have disappeared from the ‘garage’.
