Is there an easy way to get the polystyrene “box” out from under the floor?
It looks like the rear sill was installed after it, and is holding it in place… but my freewheel (wheelchair accessory) is *just* too large to fit… if I could remove the insert I could use a moving blanket to wrap the wheel and be able to leave it in the car… then I’d have it when I needed it, rather than leaving it at home all the time.
Removing the underboot polystyrene (standard boot)
Shortly after posting… the sill just pops out of its clips - straight up.
Then the box can be removed and the sill clips back into place. Then flip the seal all along its length and it snaps all the way down.
This is now wrapped in a blanket… I wonder what those white cables/string are?

How good are those freewheel’s? As I’m looking at getting one when my new chair arrives.
They’re amazing. Obviously you end up tilted slightly back, but I can do all sorts of terrain.
For a rough field on a hill (dogfest) I used my lever wheels as well, but for general “unsurfaced outdoors” the freewheel alone is so liberating - not looking to pick a route along a path, you can enjoy the view and talk with people …
