Anyone know why my steering wheel automatically goes onto one bar when I start the car?

In my id3 it comes on automatically when it drops below a certain temperature. I'm guessing the Skoda works on the same principle.

There's a setting somewhere. I've turned mine off.

My old ID3 was auto set following any setting updates, to turn heated steering on low. If you go into heating controls and hit the settings (top right). The steering wheel auto heat up can be turned off.

It is a setting in the climate control that sets the steering wheel heating on when temp drops below a certain point. You can select different levels of heating.

But it won’t turn off completely. My keep on coming back every time I switch off. I just leave it now and switch it off when I get in the car using steering wheel button

Do you have your new car now? I seen on the id3 forum you had ordered one?

Collected today, was a huge surprise for it to have come so quickly. The dealership were fantastic and a delight to deal with.

Excellent, love it. I've went for black too. Can't wait to get mine.

I don't want to hijack this thread but how long did you wait?

Ordered 7th October and it was at the dealership on the 12/1. I’m sure it had to have been a cancelled order, very impressed so far need to adjust a few settings. There’s a few differences in the infotainment system. Currently preferred the ID3 system, that may be due to knowing that one inside out though. The Enyaq is solid, stable and nice to drive, again very different but was the right choice for us.
