Are front parking sensors automatic?

Quick and maybe random on when I had my Focus ST estate when parking the front sensors would activate automatically, my current car e-Niro the fronts work if I press the button, or if I was in reverse first then they will work.

What does the Enyaq do? Or is it spec/trim dependant?

Yes, they activate automatically.

They activate when moving forward at under about 10mph - and deactivate when you go over about 10mph.

you have to activate this in the assistance menu though. When I first got mine, the front sensors would not work automatically. I then found a setting to make them always on.
