Also remember that it will just stop dead at some point. It is not even like non auto ice cars where you could put it in gear and use the starter motor to move car off road.

It is an offence to run out of fuel on a motorway, and perhaps on other roads as well, so I presume running out of electric is also likely to be a driving offence with potential fine and points on licence?
