Bulb have gone into administration today. I wouldn’t expect any company to be taking on new customers for a little while yet.

I made a few enquiries this week and all of those I have looked at don't make sense atm. Our provider went into administration a couple of months back and the tariff rate is alot higher with any provider right now.

If you can wait until around Apr 22 I am told things should start to stablise again.

I hope so Greg! Original idea was to have access to a 5p overnight rate when we took the plunge. Even something below 10p but currently there’s nothing available.

Even at most suppliers non-variable rates it's still a lot cheaper than petrol/diesel. I'm in the same boat - my supplier went bust a couple of weeks back, so have been moved to British Gas (ironic as there's no gas supply in my area) but have no idea what their tariff they'll put us on yet. So I'm just going to accept whatever we're given, until I can change once the market has settled down.

Got my Enyaq on Monday, 15th November and had hoped to use the Good Energy EV tariff, but they have stopped offering these tariffs. I now go out on sunny mornings to charge using my solar PV panels.

@RichR we have been moved to British Gas afterr ours went under and we have been moved on to a tariff that remains fixed until Apr next year, more than we were paying before, but still below any other tariff I can find atm

Greg - we got details through yesterday afternoon. The standing charge is about the same as Neon Reef, but the price per unit is slightly higher with no off-peak reduction. It'll do - there's no point getting upset about things you can't do anything about.

Still cheaper than petrol :)

Octopus Go seems to have moved to around 23 or 25 pence (ish) for peak rates. Can’t remember exactly. Still 5 pence for four hours of off-peak.

That is almost identical to my quotes earlier in the year before the energy meltdown. We could not move enough useage to the cheap rate to make it cost effective.

Don't know why transporting electrons to the South West is so much more expensive.

My current flat rate cheap tarrif is up in February so not doing anything until then and hope the market will have settled down.
