Duration from Order to Uk Delivery - Your Experience?

Wow - such a long build? They started mine at the beginning of Sept and it’s apparently already at the port in Germany ready to ship. Did you get a ‘status code’ ?

Yeah, it's been waiting for something related to the semi-conductor shortage for about 5 weeks I think. I haven't asked for the code, but I can take a guess at the number

Our car was ordered on the 14th June. Originally we were told it will be delivered end of August/ early September.

Then it went to early October, then November.

We are still waiting for a build date and the lease company has told us January at the earliest.

It's ridiculous those times of waiting for a car. I have discarded this one. I will go to any can offer me a decent delivery service time

I've just ordered, and the dealer has advised that delivery is likely to be 1st June 2022.

Does anyone have access to a system that gives build status? The garage says that Skoda have removed it since the various issues have started.

So I've bitten the bullet and placed an order... but not for an Enyaq.

Decided it was just a bit too much to stretch to the 80X Sportline plus options that I would have liked and the current situation of Skoda just deciding to not fit certain items that the customer has paid for as well as the slightly dodgy software in the infotainment that's been reported here and elsewhere has just left me a little nervous.

So I've plumped for another Kodiaq Sportline, diesel again, with lots of options. Worked out around £6-7k cheaper than the equivalent Enyaq 80X Sportline with similar options, and with the £2750 finance contribution available on the Kodiaq but nothing on the Enyaq, I just couldn't make the finance work for me to make the leap to electric at this time. Still quoted a 28 week wait for the Kodiaq though...

I know the current fuel situation isn't great and anyone driving electric will be feeling particularly smug driving past all of the queues, however it's mostly passed me by as I had half a tank when things got bad last weekend and then managed to get a full tank from my local Shell garage without any queue on my way to work on Thursday. Now good for 2-3 weeks, so not really concerned.

Anyway, it seems I might never be an Enyaq owner, or if I am, then it will be in around 4+ years - hopefully all of the teething issues will have been ironed out by then!

I spoke to Skoda last week and still no build date for my order that was officially accepted by the factory early July.... have to say i am beginning to lose interest and quite like the money i have left at the end of the month which would be going skoda's way... I do have another car i can use (although would rather not over winter) and a cheap-ish second hand Merc ' estate off Autotrader and saving some cash is looking a very tempting alternative to my new lease at the moment...

I ordered my Enyaq IV 80 Lounge Racing blue with a miriad of options on 31 July and took delivery 30 September and not from Skoda Uk but Arnold Clark Linwood Skoda. I was kept up to date with the progress of my build via Messenger from Skoda and everything went as planned, sorry to hear so many good people are having issues regarding the purchase and then delivery of these vehicles, haven't seen any of these cars on the road in my area of Scotland

Good to hear you got lucky with the build... must have chosen the spec where all parts were in stock....

This is what is starting to annoy me re skoda now, why are some orders taking so long... and in the meantime skoda UK used cars are showing Enyaqs with excessive mark ups on used cars....that aren't even available?
