Duration from Order to Uk Delivery - Your Experience?
Yay - my order has been accepted and build week 28 assigned! With the recent glut of good news I couldn’t resist emailing the dealer any longer so I fired one of this afternoon. I was still expecting “order not accepted” so I’m still a bit in shock! He said that mid august might be a likely date for me to get my hands on it although I’ve replied that I’d rather wait 2 weeks and get the next reg plates - it could end up being sept anyway. There is hope!

Absolutely not - the only direction prices are going is up. One reason for the iv60 being dropped, for now atleast, might be due to it no-longer qualifying for the grant. That’s narrowed the gap between 60 & 80 by atleast £2500 and must have made it less attractive. If I were buying now, without the grant, I’d probably opt for a lower spec 80.

The grant is now only £1500 anyway, so I guess less incentive for Skoda to squeak the price under. And they get to reduce production complexity by getting rid of a variant.Ouvavou wrote: ↑Tue May 10, 2022 9:37 pmAbsolutely not - the only direction prices are going is up. Before, the difference between a 60 with grant and an 80 without was around £5k. Which is why I went for it. If I hadn't, I'd be doing some hard thinking now.
60 Loft Graphite (Was Quartz) Grey on order since late Nov 2021
There’s a £32k cap on the £1500 grant so no enyaq qualifies any more. When i ordered there was about £7k difference between a basic 60 & 80 (after the grant). I can’t recall what the basic 80 had over the 60 other than the chrome. Rear parking camera maybe? It was a significant difference if you didn’t regularly need an extra 40-80 miles range. I spent it on extras for the 60

Oh wow, yeah. The cap was £35k before, wasn't it? They had no hope of meeting £32k, not even with the 50 variant they sell across the Channel (where they still sell the 60, too).Ouvavou wrote: ↑Tue May 10, 2022 10:30 pmThere’s a £32k cap on the £1500 grant so no enyaq qualifies any more. Not in Germany. They've gone down the same route as the UK in the hope of reducing waiting times.HarryHuk wrote: ↑Tue May 10, 2022 11:05 pmOh wow, yeah. The cap was £35k before, wasn't it?
