I ordered my Sportline 80 in mid September. It's now at the dealer and it will be ready for me to pick up next week. So it will be around 5 months from order to delivery.

Well I couldn't decide between white or blue, so I went for the best of both worlds. :)

Was advised on the day I should expect fairly long lead time of delivery around mid-December due to the semiconductor shortage. Have not had any update from dealer as yet but not really expecting one at this stage. Reading other users experiences here I am keeping fingers crossed this isn't delayed beyond December but I won't be surprised if it is. Regardless can't wait for it to arrive.
Update - just come out of the Skoda customer services chat thingy. My Sportline started its build today (13 September 2021), with a 2 week build and approximate delivery to dealership 4 weeks after that, which would be the week commencing 18th October. They did say however that there 'may be delays due to semiconductor shortage' - so who knows, but at least the ball is rolling
Update - well not really an update. Dealer was in touch yesterday to say 'still no update' and delivery now looks like sometime in January. A little disappointed as I was hoping for a pre-Christmas delivery, but not unexpected. Will just have to be patient. I posted in this thread a few weeks ago that it seems some order statuses are being regularly updated (ie. Left factory, arrived Emden, on route, arrives UK port etc) and others are not. Mine seems to be in the no update group, which is frustrating
An Update at last! Dealer called today. Sportline has left the factory having completed its pre shipment checks. ETA mid-Feb. Later than hoped but its on the way 👍

Edit - I'm a cash buyer, not a company car.

Nice to see quite a few cars coming through in January. I collected my vehicle today and was in a queue of 3 customers collecting new Skoda vehicles at my local dealer. So mine was a fairly typical (private purchase) 4 months in the end. In that time this forum thread has gone from Page 7 to Page 65!

So for the last time my overall timeline was:

3/9 Completed order with dealer.
9/9 Dealer confirmed order submitted to Skoda. Predicted delivery date 8th March '22. No Skoda order number yet.
7/10 Skoda order number allocated but order not "accepted" by factory yet.
8/11 Car accepted at Status 10 with provisional build week of 46 (w/c 15/11).
29/11 Status 20 "Build" and build week 46 confirmed. No build sub-status given.
17/12 Status 30 "In transit"
20/12 Car at Port of Emden, Status 38 "Port of exit - released."
4/1 (or probably more likely sometime between Christmas and New Year) Status 40 "AT UK Port"
7/1 Car arrived at dealer
14/1 Collected car. This could probably have been earlier in the week but my charge point fitting got delayed so this date suited me better

The car was 100% as per ordered spec. including colour Quartz Grey.

I am very pleased so far but there is obviously a steep learning curve with the systems as I am someone that likes to at least partially understand all the options, so I've got a bit of homework (playing) to do. Driving home I couldn't persuade the climate system to work but I think my phone was still controlling it after the dealer had helped me activate Skoda Connect and showed me the pre-departure climate controls! It's all fine now.

My Zappi was installed yesterday. I mentioned this earlier in the thread, and the exact feature we actually needed was the ability to attach multiple Current Transformers to sense current usage in different locations, as my existing garage supply takes a somewhat complicated route from the house. Apparently most charge points only allow one CT/sense rule. The network connections between the Zappi and CTs are via cable for reliability, whereas the connection to the management hub is a dedicated wireless one, and the hub then plugs into the house network and can be accessed over normal home wifi.

I notice that Zappi (Myenergi) specialises in systems that utilise green energy sources in combination with the mains. If only I had a south facing garage roof with clear view of the sun, plus enough money left after the car purchase to buy some solar panels! That's another thing that has changed since I ordered this car. I was predicting electricity cost would be around 1/3 of the cost of diesel for my old 3-series. With the October energy cost increases and the ones coming in April, the cost of fuel alone is only going to be around 10% lower by then!
