So we had a little run from sheffield to Stansted airport yesterday, as it’s our first run out where we know we need a top up charge will be needed to get back home, we stopped on the journey down for a toilet stop and a quick test to work out public charging. IONITY was full so we used grid serve for 10 minutes just as a test, and plan to stop at Peterborough IONITY on the journey home.
When I checked before we stopped to see if pre heating the battery had automatically started, the screen for the battery status said unavailable. This lasted for about 15 mins and then reappeared and it hadn’t started pre heating, so I used the manual pre heat to start it off. I presumed this was a problem of the status screen not being available.
When we parked the car up the screen still said unavailable and we just parked up and caught our flight. All this time and also when we put a little charge in, the percentage and distance was all working ok on the dashboard readout.
When I look now on the app it says 88 percent and 239 miles? I know it was approximately about 40 percent left so it seems to be frozen. Has anyone any ideas or seen this before. I have reinstalled the app but it says just the same. I hope when get back and we drive home it might reset it self or maybe I need to just reset the screen. Everything else seemed to be working fine.
