Can anyone recommend anything to attach to the passenger seat to protect the back of it from small feet!

I got a pair of these:

Not going to win any style awards, but they’re fairly cheap and just about do the job. Kids like having the pockets too (just make sure they don’t put anything like pencils in in case of an accident).

One option is to use a seat back protector, which is like a mat that hangs over the back of the seat and protects it from scuffs and dirt. They often have pockets and compartments for storing items too! Another idea is to use a clear adhesive film made for car interiors. It's easy to apply and can be cut to fit the seat perfectly.
