13A mains charging

For interest, in that I don't think either the order pages, nor the dealers are clear on this, the Enyaq does not come with any facility to charge from a 13A domestic as supplied.
We've just had a beautiful Artic Silver 80 delivered with Pod Point 7kW fitted to home. But hope was that next step would be a range testing 250 mile mid summer trip to Scotland. There is a heavy DCC charge cable but that is all.
A call to the dealer led to head scratching but a price was eventually produced to procure a 13A charger as an add on hopefully coming overnight delivery so the trip may still be on.
Worth bearing in mind if you plan a trip to visit someone.

Hopefully you didn't pay over £200

Quoted £225 as a 'special discount'.
Aware this was a 'must have' for us to visit relatives over the border so felt trapped. Pleased on that account that it wasnt above £500.
But is there a route to a better price? or would a generic from non VW/ Skoda do just as well at lower price?
Very interested to hear. Due to pick it up tomorrow.

They are £200 in Argos or a bit less on eBay

This is what Skoda sells as an optional extra according to the Enyaq configurator:
If you got it for £225 then I would say you've done particularly well. Then again, plenty of after-market options available for around the £200 mark (or less).

Under £200 from Argos, Amazon, eBay, Screwfix and probably places like Halfords and other motor factors. It's a bit odd that Skoda don't bundle one but that seems to be the case.

The £225 offering was not the 'industrial 32A' Skoda branded one showing as an option on the order page at an industrial (!) price, but a VW generic one. Seems solid enough, 5m, and importantly to hand.

Just to get this straight, the Enyaq doesn't come with a cable to charge from a 3 pin home wall socket as standard?
Ordered a 60 back in March, and don't remember seeing this as an option so didn't add it

That's my understanding, but someone who has had their car delivered might be able to shed more light on things.
Quite a few after-market ones available though.
