My 60 arrived 3 weeks ago - I am in France but it did not come with a standard mains socket cable. It did come with a 32A cable suitable to connect the car to a 32A wallbox.
I installed my own wallbox a SCHNEIDER cost 599 Euro Plus 80 for 3 core 6mm electric cable and another 90 for the special RCB France specifies. I was lucky that there was already wide underground trunking connecting my consumer unit to the separate garage.

This one looks quite good as it's a 10m cable where many are only 5m:

Whilst I don't as yet have an EV, my assumption would be that you are only likely to need to use this when staying with a relative/friend/etc. that has a drive but doesn't have a home charger pod as they don't have an EV (yet!). You would then need to plug in and run the cable through a window/from their garage/etc. and limiting things to the car being within 5m of the socket seems a little short to me unless you're also able to run an extension cable and leave that outside.

Of course for an iV60, you're looking at something like 18 hours to recharge from empty to 100% (21 hours for an iV80) using a 3-pin cable, so it's only really going to top you up a bit overnight (assuming 8-10 hours plugged in).

Whilst not advisable to use regularly, you can use a suitably rated extension lead if you need to. Make sure it is rated for the full 13A (although the car chargers only draw 10A continuous), has good quality plug and socket fitted, and obviously is waterproof and designed to be used outside. Check the plug and socket occasionally to ensure nothing's getting hot. I've got a 10m Masterplug one in the boot of my PHEV that I use for those occasional charges when away from home. I'll transfer that to the Enyaq when I get it and buy a 2.3kW Type 2 mains charger online.

Generally I wouldn't envisage charging my Enyaq 80 from say 10% to 100% off the mains very often, probably just put in enough to get to a public rapid charge on my planned route the next day. It's all about putting in enough charge to get you to the next place to charge, there's no need to charge over 80% at every charge stop. For example driving from my house in North Yorkshire to my mum's in Cornwall should require two 15 minute charge stops on the motorway for an Enyaq 80 according to ABRP and Zap-map planners. I'll be wanting to stop more than twice anyway. :)

No it doesn’t come as standard kit. We ordered one off the net and it arrived the following day. We have been running the car from it over the last twelve days or so. Normal three pin plug to tap into domestic ring main with a 32amp mcb in the consumer unit. BE WARNED THESE THINGS DO MAKE HEAVY DEMANDS ON A DOMESTIC SET UP! Initially I was drawing current from a double socket in our porch. The plug and socket were getting warm-quite warm. My advice to anybody having to go down this route is to physically monitor the temperature at the socket and not to leave it on charge overnight. Our interim solution, pending the installation of of our charge point (fully paid for but crawlingly slow in materialising) thanks Octopus, has been to install a waterproofed socket externally on the detached garage. Still not leaving it on overnight though.

I can confirm the Enyaq iV80 here in France doesn't come with a domestic 13A lead (aka granny lead). It's probably the same everywhere. Fortunately I also have a Renault Zoe - Renault supply a granny lead with the car. This lead also works with the Enyaq, no problem. I don't think you'll have a problem with any after-market one... I would go for the cheapest.

It is an extra amazingly - not easy to find in the configurator though.

I confirm that Enyaq's don't come with a 13A lead, which has to be purchased separately. I am using the one that came as standard with my wife's Renault Zoe: it works fine on the Enyaq.

I bought this one. Not cheap but had 10m cable and variable current charging for dodgy holiday cottage wiring:

It's also a Rolec charger, so a known brand.

Screwfix and Argos have a much cheaper Masterplug charger but it's it out of stock everywhere.

More than happy with the non-Skoda branded version I got from Amazon for £185. Only 10A but as an emergency stop over option, it does the job.

Virtually all EV 230V chargers are 10A (ie 2.3kW) maximum. That's because UK and most EU plugs and sockets are not rated to handle much higher for an extended period. Even at 10A, many people with old or dirty sockets find that the plugs can get hot (and in extreme cases, melt). Always check the plug after an hour or so of charging to see if it's getting warm.

But yes - they're only really meant to be used occasionally (hence the term 'granny charger' - you use it when staying at granny's house, who doesn't have a wall charger).
