I’ve read through a few threads on charging issues but not seen a solution.

I have an Enyaq 60iv, a Zappi charger and I’m on Octopus Go. I have the Zappi set to boost between 00:30 and 04:30 to take advantage of the cheap rate. Octopus is not controlling anything. This has worked flawlessly since I got the Zappi.

The vehicle was called in for the major software update 91GO. Since then my method of charging doesn’t work. If I plug it in and boost manually, it seems ok but when I use the programmed boost it fails and says something like ‘waiting for EV’.

I’ve spoken to the dealer and they have no idea, I’ve been through every setting and can’t find anything. I don’t want to start messing with the Zappi or octopus as they didn’t change.

Any thoughts?

Have you tried:

Remove Fuse 3 from the fuse box located under the bonnet.
Wait a few minutes.
Replace Fuse.

No, not sure why but I’ll give it a go. What’s behind that as a solution?
Thanks

Fuse 3 is the power supply for the charger. Removing it resets the charger.

It seems the 3.7 update leaves the charger in a slightly incorrect state where it cannot wake the car up. Pulling the fuse for a minute resets it and sorts the issue.

I’ve only had the Enyaq for 4 weeks, it’s a sportline plus, my previous EV was a Kona 64 ultimate, that worked well with my Zappi V2 that I’ve had for 4 years. You’ll probably know the Zappi needs to be updated regularly, if not things go wonky. My energy supplier is E-on 6 hours every night at 6.9 pkwy. I set the Enyaq to block programmer 6 hours 00.00 hrs to 06.00 hrs 7 days a week.
When there’s any Solar gain from the panels the Enyaq will capture surplus on the Zappi set to eco plus, as the gain drops off the Enyaq goes into pause mode, and tops up as soon as the timer program on the Zappi hits midnight.

This worked for me when my car was returned to me after the 3.7 update.
