Battery Protection Limit
Equally the same - no messages at all and working flawlessly. However I have done nothing… 12V hasn’t been changed.
What's the weather like? If it's a bit warmer...then that might be why it's working you right now....Enyaqandy24 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 4:51 pm Equally the same - no messages at all and working flawlessly. However I have done nothing… 12V hasn’t been changed.
Ok so it’s back for me but with a twist.
The notifications are coming through in what looks German.
But I’m not actually even logged in to the app…
So how does this make sense….

I contacted Skoda about 2 month ago about this problem. They escalated the problem back to the Skoda development as a level 3 problem (I don't know what that means). Anyway....they have now instructed me to book a service time at the garage to have it fixed. Skoda wanted me to book a time no earlier then a week from now - so probably they are sending the garage some parts...
I asked the local Skoda garage and they haven't received any instructions yet. I also asked when I emailed Skoda support - I got a reply - but they didn't answer my question about that...
So without touching the keys but going outside to our car - this is what I have noticed…
Pretty obvious why it’s going flat!
I’m booked in for 12V battery replacement on the 20th (if this is what they confirm it is) - but I think i might wait until the new year as I have a feeling that this could take far longer.
The 12V is not the cause, it’s getting damaged buy whatever is keeping the car awake - flattening it and letting it freeze - and then never holding a charge again.
A new 12V will just let this happen again. It’s the equivalent of fixing a leaking roof by changing the bucket it’s leaking into - no more mess on the floor - for while.
