Infotainment screen glitching

When I went out to the car this morning there was an issue with the infotainment screen glitching. It was scrolling around in a loop and fuzzy. Just wondered if anyone else has encountered this issue? It has rather ruined our morning and causing my wife who already had "trust issues" with going to EV (and yeah , I know this is not a specific EV issue), to cancel her trip to work.

I tried resetting the system with long hold on the power "button", but this didn't work. Eventually after about an hour I returned to the car and it seems to have corrected itself, but it leaves us now with a nagging suspicion that it will happen again and we don't know when.

I didn't get a video but the behavior is identical to this reddit post (not my post).

If your car is still under warranty and it happens again, take a video (including trying to restart the screen) and have it replaced. If it's out of warranty, then decide based on the price of the replacement.

Thanks, yeah will do. We have had it less than a month.

I have a same issue (plus many others). None can be reproduced on request- all sporadic. Recorded videos/ took pictures and brought the car to the garage... apart of taking £120 for investigation the garage solved nothing. And this is April 2024 car.

When you say the long press didnt work, do you mean it didnt restart the unit, or it didnt fix the glitch?

Didn't fix the glitch, it restarted with the skoda logo still with the same issue. I wondered if it was related to getting cold, but it is not the coldest it has been in recent days.
