Charging less kilometers
Just a theory but ‘maybe’ it’s adjusting the predicted range based on the type of driving, and length of journeys you’ve been doing…..

EVs base predictions on recent driving behaviours

Estimated range is not an accurate indicator of battery charge state (or indeed how much petrol is left on an ICE vehicle). It merely says ‘if you carry on driving how you have been recently, you should get this far’.
My favourite example- say you tow a caravan 5 miles up a hill at a high speed then park at the top. How many kWh does that use? A lot. So now you park up and charge the battery. The indicated range will be quite low because it can only assume that you’re going to carry on consuming electricity at that rate. Now you unhitch the caravan and coast back down the hill - using barely any electricity. What’s the kWh per mile now? So the estimate range will change - it’ll increase to an unrealistically high figure. A car cannot see into the future and know how much electricity (or petrol) you’re going to be using. All it can do is estimate based on what it’s been in the last few minutes.
But if you’re travelling on a relatively flat road at a constant speed the indicated range will be pretty accurate.
