Škoda is kicking off its 130th anniversary celebrations with the world premiere of the new Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé. Scheduled for Wednesday, 8 January at 09:00 GMT, the reveal will take place on Škoda’s official YouTube channel.

A video walkaround, including expert insights and detailed information, will showcase the new Škoda Enyaq’s updates. Highlights include enhancements to the exterior and interior design, upgraded standard equipment, and diverse powertrain options. Both the Škoda Enyaq and the Škoda Enyaq Coupé now embody the brand’s new Modern Solid design language, featuring a striking front end with a glossy black Tech-Deck Face, Light Band, and newly designed LED Matrix beam headlights. The new Enyaq also delivers an extended range, thanks in part to optimised aerodynamics, alongside more sustainable materials and extensive standard equipment.

Im just disappointed that its so expensive.

I thought it might be my next car but its only £3k less (7%) than the Enyaq of a similar/same spec.

It makes the Model 3 (and perhaps the Enyaq) look cheap IMO.

For me, its at least 15% less of a car which is where id expect it to be priced.

Perhaps I've been in Yorkshire too long!.

This is the facelifted Enyaq Skoda mentioned last year in their EV strategy for the next few years. It was at various motor shows in the summer. Should have had Epiq released by now, but it'll probably be next year as Elroq was delayed a bit. And then hopefully we'll see the ID.7 equivalent (ie EV version of Octavia) in 2027/2028 maybe.

Wonder if I should cancel my new vRS (due soon) and re-order? I'd lose my deposit though, so probably not :D

On order: Enyaq iV 85 vRS Maxx, Race Blue, Transport Pack, Heat pump. Expected Jan 2025.

Wonder what date they will start to build the new model and cease the old one?

I guess once they've scheduled all the current models for build, then they'll know when they need to start producing the new parts. As I understand, most of the changes are just a facelift - ie new bumper, bonnet, headlights, grille etc. The bulk of the car and software is the same. Though I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the features on the newer VWs (better massage seats etc) creeping in.

My 85 vRS is scheduled to be built at the end of January, so it'll be after that :D

As the Enyaq is currently missing from the Škoda car configurator (with only the Elroq available), it is possible that the facelifted Enyaq will enter production soon...
