I've got an iV80, also with the Hankook Ventus tyres on 19" wheels. I don't have options for different ride settings which I think that only comes with the Drive Sport + option. I have to say though, that I don't find the ride hard at all even though for the most of the time I am driving it around London streets with speed bumps everywhere. Mind, I have moved to the Enyaq from a BMW X3 that had low profile, run flat tyres so comparatively the Enyaq was always going to be a lot softer (and quieter) ride. It really does sound as if the dealer has "adjusted" a physical setting, such as removing transport blocks.

I've ordered an 80 and on the UK configurator Drive Mode Select comes as standard which I'm expecting. I think I'm right in saying that this is different to the DCC but not sure how. The Drive Mode Select is an optional extra on the 60 with choosing the 'Drive Sport Package Basic'. I'm going to email my dealership and ask what it actually means. I read on another thread on this forum that others have the same issue with not being able to choose other modes. :?

Yes, you're correct. "Drive Mode Select" in the Drive Package Basic and Drive Sport Package Basic allow you to choose modes with things like different throttle and steering response and HVAC energy cap etc. You can't change the suspension settings without Drive Sport Package Plus which adds dynamic chassis control (ie adjustable damping). That adds the Comfort settings to the drive modes.

I find it amusing that my big old Pajero had electronically adjustable dampers (switch on centre console for soft/medium/hard) back 30 years ago :)

/\ oops 😬 I didn’t realise there’d be no adjustable damping at all. My fault for not checking into that one properly (although info was somewhat ambiguous back in May!) I’m getting the 21” tyres too. Doh 😖!! That said, I do generally prefer Sport mode in my current car - which stiffens up the suspension somewhat - so hopefully the harder ride (if this is going to be the case) will be something we’re already used to.

Really need to jack mine up it’s making knocking noises on every speed bump and pot hole also my headlight was set to right hand drive so very possible transport bump stops in place

Jacked front up today and found not one but 3 transport blocks each side twisted and dust boots damaged not happy . Once out the ride at the front end is completely different . Back still feels bumpy but the boots are clamped so will ask the dealer about that

/\ that’s shocking. Thanks for sharing the photos; I will send to my dealership to ask them to make sure this isn’t missed.

Wow that’s bad I would be looking to the garage and some sort of gesture from them to make it up to you , or I would name and shame them online.
