Has anyone mastered the slower charging on smart schedules?

Tried a charge between 00:30 and 04:30 on my octopus go tariff, something happened, car accrued 20 miles of range overnight, but it doesn't feel enough. I have a 3.5kw charging unit on drive. Appears to still be down regulating. I had the charging time window set, and a scheduled departure for 8am Monday to see if that did anything to boost it...

From my tests it aims to reach your set max % at the set departure time using your off-peak in preference. For some reason (Bug) it used much less lower so it will not reach it. Try setting your off-peek to end at 02:30 daily and a departure time of 04:30 tommorow, for me it caused it to start charging earlier. I think you should find increased miles added all in off-peek. My test showed it stopped charging at the end of set off-peek but restated again.

I will retest when update software 0910 arrives but for now I am controlling the charger via a defer charging power input controlled by a time switch which works perfectly.

Simple answer from what we have found is no. On a scheduled charge I’ve never had more than 50% of what the carver is capable of. Turn the schedule off and it’s back to 100% power.
There’s another thread (Delayed Charging Timer) where a lot of this has been discussed already. A number of people have tried many combinations of settings but the summary so far is that it’s a bug and we’re waiting for a software update to fix.
