ŠKODA is expanding its acclaimed Enyaq iV electric SUV line-up with the arrival of a new, all-wheel-drive 80x SportLine model. Priced from £46,610, the new model is also the most powerful Enyaq iV to date with an output of 195kW (265PS).

The 80x SportLine is fitted with a second electric motor that drives the front axle. The combined 195kW output of the front and rear motors means that the newest addition to the Enyaq iV range is also the fastest with a 0-62mph time of 6.9 seconds. The 80x model also delivers significantly more torque than the standard rear-wheel drive SportLine model thanks to its twin motor arrangement. The combined torque figure for the 80x SportLine is 425Nm, which provides exceptional levels of agility and acceleration.

In terms of power consumption and range, the 80x SportLine has a WLTP range figure of 303 miles. Official consumption is 3.5 miles per kWh under WLTP test conditions. 80x SportLine models are equipped with 125kW rapid charging capability as standard, which means the newcomer can charge from 0-80% in as little as 38 minutes when connected to a 150kW+ DC rapid charger. A charge from empty to full will take around 13 hours on a domestic wallbox with an output of 7.2kW.

Like the rear-wheel drive model, 80x SportLine is equipped with a sports chassis set up as standard. This features a lower ride height (15mm lower at the front, 10mm at the rear) that reduces the centre of gravity for even more agile handling. Drive Mode Select and progressive steering are also standard while Dynamic Chassis Control is available as an option.

The Enyaq iV 80x SportLine comes with full LED Matrix headlights as standard. Each Matrix high beam module features 24 LEDs, which can be controlled individually and enable the driver to have the high beam on at all times without dazzling other road users. This intelligent technology automatically turns off individual segments of the light beam when the camera on the windscreen detects vehicles, as well as people and objects, reflecting the light.

Inside, the 80x SportLine’s upholstery and roof lining are predominantly black. The dashboard is upholstered in a black synthetic leather with grey contrasting stitching and features carbon-effect trims, which provide visual highlights and can also be found on the door panels.

The SportLine Design Selection also includes unique black sports seats with integrated headrests. These are upholstered in Alcantara/Leather and feature grey piping. A three-spoke multifunction leather sports steering wheel comes as standard and allows numerous vehicle functions to be controlled from its buttons and knurled wheels. The leather-covered steering wheel rim features grey contrast stitching, while the lower spoke has a badge bearing the SportLine lettering.

The 80x SportLine is priced from £46,610 OTR and available to order now. First deliveries are expected later this year.

I ordered mine at the end of July. Still waiting for the order to be accepted by the factory and be given a provisional build date. Would like delivery before the end of the year but I also added a lot of extras so would not be surprised if delivery does not happen until 2022. Not been able to test drive the car so also hoping the ride is not too hard especially with the 21" wheels. A couple of online reviews I saw suggests it wont be but then again it is a subjective thing.

Spec is
Sportline 80x
Race Blue Metallic Paint
21" Betria Alloys
Comfort Seat Basic
Family Package Basic
Climate Package Plus
Transport Package
Drive Sport Package Plus
Assisted Drive Package Plus
Parking Package Plus
Infotainment Package Plus - HUD
Heat Pump

Decided not to go for the sunroof. May regret that decision only time will tell.

Interested to know if anyone else has placed an order yet and got a build date?

/\ my order was placed end of May and no info or updates at all yet other than the initial “early Oct” estimate I was given back in May, so if you’ve only just placed your order, I guess it will be several months.

Wow, that's a great spec, but at a list price of nearly £53.2k, did you get any discount from the dealer? Suspect not?

It's very close to my ideal spec as well, although I'm more inclined to go for the Arctic Silver as it's unique to the Enyaq (so far) and I'd also need the towbar and would like the pano roof and convenience pack.

Lots of stuff that's standard on the Sportline 80x is also still listed in the packages, but guess that's taken care of in the package pricing? Things like the keyless entry are included in the convenience package (it's standard), likewise the heated steering wheel is included in the Drive Sport Package Plus (it's again standard), full LED Matrix headlights are included in the Light and View Package Plus (once again, they're included as standard), and the inclusion of "Satellite Navigation System" in the Infotainment Package Plus is a bit bizarre, as even the most basic 60 model would have this, wouldn't it?

The on-line configurator was used multiple times to get to what I wanted but yes the option descriptions etc can be confusing.

I did manage to get a discount which I was pretty pleased with but it did take some negotiation with three different dealers before I got the deal I wanted. In the end it came down not only to price but how the sale enquiry was handled and how they dealt with the test drive etc. Very different experiences but the dealer I went with let me have a full hour unescorted test drive before the purchase and before they knew what I wanted and after I placed the order they let me have a further 2 hour test drive so I could check a few more things out and confirm options etc. Unfortunately test drive was in an 80 suite rather that the Sportline version.
UK: Sportline 80x, 21" Betria wheels, Race Blue Metallic, Heat Pump and most options. No sunroof or tow bar.
Ordered end July, entered production week 38.

I'm living in Sweden and ordered my 80x Sportline on 19th of June (orders in Sweden for the 80x was opened on the 17th of June). Today I was told by the car dealer that my car just got build week 41. A lot can happen so I will not hold my breath...
