Impressed with iV80 range in the cold.
That's me!
Ordered 17th March 2021, delivered 17th November 2021. Enyaq iV 60 Suite, Moon White Metallic, 100kW, Comfort Seat Package Basic, Family Package Basic, Convenience Package Plus, Drive Sport Package Basic, Assisted Drive Package Plus, Parking Package Plus.
If I remember correctly, 280 ish to start with but it dropped quite rapidly for the first few miles, as I had a couple of in-town visits before I got onto the motorway (A3 to be precise). Then the mileage range increased and I recall I was travelling 3 or 4 actual miles for every drop in range mileage for quite a while - clearly I was driving more efficiently than I had been the previous day, hence the mileage range increased even whilst driving.
iV80 Loft, Black, 21” Betria, 125kW, Climate Plus, Asst Drive Basic. Tethered PodPoint. Ordered May 2021. Delivered Nov 2021. Regrettably returned Jan 2024 (Company car. Changed jobs).
Well I don’t think I’m going to get near that as I’ve just this minute charged my iv80 to 100% and I’ve only got 254miles guesstimate, and a recent trip from bidford on Avon to Lincoln a 208 mile round trip from 100% I only just made it home with 2 mile spare charge and that was the end of September and 18 deg, so you win this oneGoaty wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 4:06 pmIf I remember correctly, 280 ish to start with but it dropped quite rapidly for the first few miles, as I had a couple of in-town visits before I got onto the motorway (A3 to be precise). If long term battery health is of interest to you, then I recommend trying to keep to 80% max charge whenever possible, saving the 100% charges only for long distance trips.
Why? I have seen enough battery State of Health (SoH) curves to see that regular charging to 100% ages your battery 3 times faster than charging to 80%. It's not a question of charge speed (the battery management system slows the charge rate once 80% full is reached anyway), it's about that last 20% of charge prematurely ageing the cells.
Having seen the SoH ageing curves for a number of different li ion cells, including NMC712 cathode cells similar to the LG Chem pouch cells that I think are fitted in our cars, we try to keep to these guidelines ourselves, only occasionally using the 90% or 100% charge for long trips.
If this link works, it will take you to the Pushevs.com website which has much more info on our valuable battery packs:

Hope this helps,
Best regards, FT
What's your average consumption (mi/kWh/)?
Enyaq iV 80 Sportline, Energy Blue, Assisted Drive Plus, Infotainment Plus, Convenience Plus, Comfort Seat Plus, Transport Pack, Heat Pump, ME3.2, Built Nov 2021.
By the way, mine from new is 3.1
4 weeks old.
Whilst I generally have been driving as economically as possible - time permitting, there have also been quite a few occasions where I’ve driven at 70, accelerated ‘enthusiastically’ and my son always has the temperature on max. whenever he’s in the car - so not all my journeys have been as economical as some of those which I’ve reported back on this forum (because of these reasons); but I’m very happy with the ‘long term’ average, which equates to nearly 240 miles per full charge. 77 x 3.1 = 238.7
