Interesting to hear of others' experiences of range with an iV80. Ours has 20" wheels and the heat pump.
Over 1600 miles with 2 adults in the car and lot of 70mph motorway driving with ACC on at 5-12C ambient temperatures, we are getting 3.0-3.1 miles per kWh.

This means 240 miles on a 100% full battery, or 200 miles range on an 80% full battery.

We were hoping for about 40 miles more range than this but it is what it is. Perhaps we will gain those missing miles when it warms up in the summer.

Very interested by these 2 sets of stats as I've been collating my predicted range on my iV60 since I had it in early October.

100% battery predictions have ranged from 140 to 210 miles and more recently for a motorway journey in cooler conditions around 160 miles.

As I didn't have the opportunity to specify the car due to it being an urgent 'off the shelf' purchase I'm now wondering whether to look to upgrade to the iV80.

I don't often charge beyond 80% and have never charged to 100% and wonder if this is something I need to be doing more often for the longer journeys. Last night I arrived home with 6% battery charge left, so it was a little concerning.

That’ll be based on previous driving conditions rather than what you’re going to do next 👍

If you’re charging at home on a slow charger (e.g. 7kW) then I think the general consensus on this forum has been it’s ok to charge to 100%. It’s the fast charging where the last 20% takes disproportionately longer.

Here’s the data from the second part of the journey I referred to at the start of the thread. Basically the return journey from Birmingham to Guildford (120 miles). The trip to Birmingham was 126 miles as I went a different way before getting onto the M25.

As there was about a 5 hour gap from when I arrived to when I left, the trip computer reset itself unfortunately back to zero when I started the return journey.

Just to recap - 100% battery in the morning. 246 miles covered. 13% (45 miles) still left after covering 246 miles. A/C at 21 degrees C most if not all the way. Mostly M25/ M40 / M42

Thanks Goaty, I've not considered the slow charge to 100% - also, it's nice to see I'm not the only one taking photos of the stats of my journeys! :D

I drove from Guildford to Oxford and back in my iv60 yesterday (Tuesday), weather wasn't too bad, 8-10C. Roughly 140 mile round trip, but to avoid any risk of having to top up I charged to 100% the night before. When I got home I still had 33% battery remaining, which I was pretty pleased about. I had the AC on between 21 and 23 degrees (slowly cranked it up on my way to Oxford, seemed fine at 21.5 on the way back). Traffic wasn't great, with periods that were slow moving on the motorways, which probably helped. I wasn't rushing at other times.
