We have had some quite bad snow in my area in Scotland the last few years so when I got my enyaq I thought about winter tyres. It's slim pickings at 235 but there are a lot more options at 245. I ended up getting a second hand set of pirrelli scorpions all seasons and got then fitted.

All seems to be good, no rubbing ( I have the lowered suspension as well)

Just one thought - have you told your insurance company that you've got non-standard size tyres fitted?

Could bite you if they decline any insurance claim...

That's an interesting point. I spoke to my insurance company previously about winters and they stated that as long as I am using the same alloy wheel and not a new set of alloys then I don't need to notify them. If however I was to get a new set of alloys with winters on, I would have to notify them. Seems a bit counter intuitive to me. I might give them a ring.

I do also worry about the supply of the EV special version of the pirrelli scorpians that are on as standard. Has anyone tried had to buy a new one yet due to a puncture?

Unsure if the 21s have sensors in them or if the same as kodiaq and just a level sensor which can be reset etc if it’s for snow I’d go thinner but yes insurance needs to be made aware
