Looks very sporty ! Glad to read elsewhere that you’re enjoying the Enyaq. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts about the Heat Pump and Drive Assist Plus.

Travel Assist is awesome. Just press the button on the steering wheel (top right on right) and as long as there’s a reasonable white line on at least one side of the road it steers for you. ACC turns on as well and obviously keeps distance and speed correct. Well, most of the time - sometimes it seems it’s not sure of the speed limit so defaults to 30mph on country lanes (probably shouldn’t really be using it there anyway) or sets at the current speed. But the speed ACC is going to use is shown on the HUD and instrument panel so it’s no big deal to tap the cruise stalk to correct it. Just need to lightly hold the steering wheel so it knows you’re there. Stops and starts in traffic as expected too.
Obviously I can’t tell how much benefit the heat pump is giving. I’ve been averaging 3.0 mi/kWh on wet roads mainly at 60-70mph in around 5°C. I think some longer journeys where I’m not slowing down and speeding up so much to see what I can achieve.

Looks like a brochure shot 👍
Mine’s absolutely filthy now! Might take a photo tomorrow and put it in the thread I started about my one.

That’s just after I gave it a quick wash. You can tell from the state of the wheels and arches it was really just a quick rinse to get rid of the worst of it. Decided a quick trip up the road and back would mostly dry it 🙂

These do for you? I was a little apprehensive that the tinted windows, darker grey headlining and pillar covers on Sportline would make it a bit dark without a sunroof, but actually it’s fine. The Alcantara seats are even more supportive and comfortable than the Loft I test drove. But they do seem to be attracting dog hair.

I was going to do that, but was advised that because the tinting is done from the inside, there will be visible white marks around the areas where the black surround on the rear windows fades to clear - so that put me off. If you have a look, you’ll see tiny dots where it fades. Most cars have had this effect since the 80s. The tinted sheeting used in after market tints can’t touch the surface of the glass at these points / dots because they are ever so slightly raised.

I've had cars done before it's not as severe as think it will be mate plus I'm doing it to protect kids in the back more than anything else. Saves fitting car shades and the like.
