Goaty - confirmation my dog crates fit (the load cover won’t go over the frames in them, but that doesn’t matter, in previous cars I’ve had to remove it). Just need to get a boot liner (with bumper protector) as the one I had in the Outlander is a bit tatty.

/\ excellent! The main reason I contacted you initially was to point out that the boot of the Enyaq is probably smaller than the Outlander (which I’d looked at a while ago, too) - so didn’t want you to find out when it was too late to cancel 👍

But you’d obviously done plenty of research! Hopefully you’re still enjoying the experience! I know I am. The only thing which annoys me is the auto dimming door mirror (because I don’t like them in general). Nothing has disappointed me at all and plenty has been a positive surprise.

I might do a post with some measurements to help others. With Transport Package (ie raised but flat to opening floor):

Width between arches 100
Depth to top of back seats 70
Depth to bottom of back seats 96
Depth seats folded 178
Height door opening 73
Height to load cover 57

(all measurements in cm).

RichR can I ask what make those dog carriers are? They look like the sort of thing I'm after.

They don’t seem to have a make on them - generic ones from Amazon I’ve had for a few years. If you do a search for “dog crate soft” you should find steel framed folding ones like this.

One word of caution - the Enyaq boot is 100cm wide. These are both 52cm wide crates, but I’ve cut and welded the frames to narrow them to 50cm wide. My Outlander’s boot was also 100cm wide, so I did it to make them fit that. They were incorrectly advertised as 50cm wide and 52cm high, but in fact those dimensions are the other way round. They are 66cm deep, which is fine for the Enyaq.

In the Outlander I fixed them down with bungee cords but the Enyaq’s load cover clamps them down securely very well.

Since you've got the tape measure out, what's the dimensions of the rear seat ?

Width (Seat & Back), Height (of back), Depth (seat)
60 Loft, Parking Basic Package, Moon White

I’m a @TentBox Ambassador. Ask me anything about TentBox! 😃

Might work for a well know charging company 😉

I’ve seen those posted on here before on a thread about child seats I think. But next time I’m out there I’ll get them for you.

i saw another Energy Blue sportline in my dealership this morning whilst having our Kodiaq in for one last service, very nice and was fully specced up with 21" wheels, light grill thing. The colour really stood out on the Sportline with the black sportline contrast on the mirrors etc.

Almost makes me regret going for Race Blue, well done on going with it

It's a deeper, more purpley blue, which in some lights really looks impressive. However I imagine the metallic Race Blue will look better in other lighting conditions, and certainly in the dark it'll reflect a lot more.

In some ways I wonder if we've become used to metallic paints being on just about everything that a non-metallic actually looks more special. Back in the 1970s/80s, metallic paint was much rarer and only on top spec models.
