Was in Glasgow today and the in built sat nav had all the buildings in 3d, yet for the prev 5 weeks driving about the sticks never had this feature.

Is it more the fact that major city has more development to the maps than provincial areas.

I use quite a lot of different mapping software for navigation, work (rural and urban) and recreationally (hiking etc) and yes I would say where a 3D function exists the accuracy and prevelance of these feature is generally better in large cities compared to rural areas.

Out of interest how accurate was the in-built navigation for Glasgow City centre's one-way system? (If you were in City centre)

I was in and around city centre, back of St Enochs centre at Howard Street getting pcr tests for travel and it was spot on.

That in itself is no mean feat. The roads are all one way and single lanes out of 4 lanes in the city centre and it’s getting worse. So that’s good to know it’s up to the task.
