hi there, any way to turn the screen off? I only really do local driving so would like the option to turn the screen off like I used to in my last car.

hopefully its that simple, I will try when I am in my car again later. I'm sure I've pressed that before though and the screen remains on?

pressing the power button did not work, it only reverts to displaying the clock on the screen :/

actually, to be clear, holding the power button down *does* turn the screen off, *but* not for very long as the screen came back on within 30 seconds :/

That’s more like a system reset. I used to be able to turn the screen off completely in my bmw but that wasn’t reliant on the screen for heating controls. I think it might not be possible (unless someone else knows otherwise) as you do need to access the screen for heating controls in the Enyaq.

It is however possible to turn the brightness down quite a bit; on the Home Screen, scroll down from the top to the bottom and you should see a screen something like this one - with a Brightness Control bar.

I guess because it's required for the climate controls, you can't have it completely off. But you can change what's on it - maybe make a screen with no tiles on it, and a black background image (I think there's a plain black one, can't remember)?
