That’s more like a system reset. I used to be able to turn the screen off completely in my bmw but that wasn’t reliant on the screen for heating controls. I think it might not be possible (unless someone else knows otherwise) as you do need to access the screen for heating controls in the Enyaq.
It is however possible to turn the brightness down quite a bit; on the Home Screen, scroll down from the top to the bottom and you should see a screen something like this one - with a Brightness Control bar.
iV80 Loft, Black, 21” Betria, 125kW, Climate Plus, Asst Drive Basic. Tethered PodPoint. Ordered May 2021. Delivered Nov 2021. Regrettably returned Jan 2024 (Company car. Changed jobs).
I guess because it's required for the climate controls, you can't have it completely off. But you can change what's on it - maybe make a screen with no tiles on it, and a black background image (I think there's a plain black one, can't remember)?
Enyaq iV 80 Sportline, Energy Blue, Assisted Drive Plus, Infotainment Plus, Convenience Plus, Comfort Seat Plus, Transport Pack, Heat Pump, ME3.2, Built Nov 2021.
