Quick question. For those of you who ordered without finance, did your dealer do any deals? Or did you pay the website ticket price?

There were no deals around when I ordered (July) - and dealer was not marketing their demo car(s) either. Guess there’s still no deals currently but there may be some availability of demo stock to haggle around.

Bought from dealer in Finland, with a financing deal. Got about 10% discount, from 60k euros. Yearly interest 0.9%

Initially the dealer did not budge, but asked around all over the country and gained a little leverage. Dealer prices were the same as on skoda website, so seems there is room to haggle

Ordered my 60 Suite with no cost upgrade to 20 inch alloys and chrome package - around £825, if I recall correctly. Had to cancel this order because of missing parking package and reorder as within 10 days build had been locked into the Skoda build system. By this time the wheel and chrome free upgrades were no longer available. Told the dealer was unwilling to pay extra for the reorder and after telling them I would cancel they agreed to include at their cost.

Have tried to negotiate discounts on several EVs - Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq - without success, demand exceeds supply so dealers have no need to offer them to private buyers. Tesla simply have never offered any discounts.

I was able to take advantage of the Skoda £750,PCP contribution, have used the VAG PCP contributions previously and then just paid of the PCP within the first month, incurring minimal interest charges.
IV60 Quartz Grey, suite, panoramic sunroof, parking basic, climate plus pack, comfort seat basic, drive sport, chrome pack, transport pack, assisted drive plus and 20” Vega wheels. ME3 upgrade.

Well my experience was there were no deals to be had in late September/early October on either of the options I was looking at (Kodiaq Sportline 2.0TDi or Enyaq 80X Sportline), so can't imagine there are any to be had now. There was a finance contribution on an Enyaq, although it was only £750 (still available now afaik).

It was part of the reasoning for me going for another Kodiaq (for now - I'm sure I'll go full electric for my next car). Still no discount, but the Kodiaq was around £5k cheaper than the like-for-like Enyaq (equipment wise), plus there was a £2750 finance contribution for buying a Kodiaq on PCP. Believe that has since been reduced to £2k though. On top of that, from the Kodiaq I currently have I can keep the rubber middle row mats, 3rd row carpet mats, boot liner and dog guard, none of which would fit an Enyaq and would have meant I'd have had to shell out another £500 or so to replace them all.

That said, I'm fairly comfortable as I did get around 17.5% off my current Kodiaq back in 2019 and its value has gone up by around 30% over the past 6 months, so I've done pretty well at both ends of ownership.

Shame though as I still really, really like the Enyaq...

Maybe next time!

If any pcp discount going, take the pcp discount then when you collect the car you have 2 weeks usually (noticed this time it was 4 weeks cooling off period).
Request your total online from skoda website around £50 handling charge/interest but the pcp discount was £750.
Last karoq pcp deal was £1500 and two free services, pulled same trick for £50 it is a no brained.
FSA it is mandatory to have a cooling off period for finance.

How much of a deal? And what terms? Using finance, lease or cash buyer?

I shopped around in September and got a 3% discount on a cash only purchase. While it's not much, it does mean I'm effectively getting two options for free.

John Johnson at Arnold Clark in Linwood, Glasgow. He gave me a deal in July. I was a cash purchaser but don’t think the discount was restricted to cash only. It was actually posted on this forum somewhere so readily offered. Around £1300.

Also I’ve found their customer service outstanding. They are close to Glasgow airport and happily offered to pick me up (flew up from Heathrow). It was a good opportunity drive 500 miles home and stop off at family and friends on the way!
IV60, quartz grey, suite trim, regulus smoke grey alloys, parking basic, climate basic, 100KW charging.
