Has anyone had any thoughts about the ID4 from VW?
Essentially this and the Enyaq are based on the same platform, very similar profiles.

Autocar have just published a first drive review here: https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new- ... -prototype

Wondering if anyone is considering this alongside the Enyaq? I suspect it will be a few thousand more expensive, but other than that??

I would obviously be partial but I honestly think the Enyaq is a much better design, especially outside.... This is so generic... and a bit soft....

It's odd as the ID3 is quite crisp.

That white one appears to be a late prototype. I quite like the ID.4 exterior but I think the interior looks cheap, scaled back and basic. I'm stepping out of a company BMW 5 series later this year (lease expires) so the ID.4 interior would be too much of a 'downgrade'. However the Enyaq interior is much more grown up. I'd have liked the Suite interior but as I've gone for the iV80 and 21" Betria wheels, I had to make a compromise and went for the Loft - which is still leagues ahead of the ID.4 imo !!

Cheers!

Every review I've seen of the ID4 they've made a comment along the lines of "the Enyaq has a much classier interior".
It's going to be down to personal preference at the end of the day but for me the Skoda is the better looking car.

So in a nutshell, the Enyaq is a better looking, better specc'd, more practical and cheaper version of the ID.4 with a different badge.

What's not to like?
