Doesn’t matter which colour or setting I use, there’s a white light shining down at my feet in the footwell; any way to turn that off or dim it? Very distracting during night driving.

Changing the ambient colour and dimming it makes no difference!

I can only get white too in the footwells (pretty sure I saw coloured options in one of the early YouTube videos) but I have been able to dim them so they’re hardly visible. I’m not near the car now but this was from the menu where you can change individual settings I think.

I use the individual setting, a yellow on the upper strip to match the stitching on the seats and dashboard. The lower centre console has had a continual adjustment until settled on darker yellow, almost red

These screenshots should help locate the brightness tab and selection area for the footwell. Sorry they're a bit dark - the manual needs a brightness control!

I haven't fiddled with this too much, so apologies if this happens in all modes, but I have my lights in the "Auto" setting and when you open a door the LEDs go red just for that door, which is quite cool. Another way to tell if a door hadn't been shut properly, and I guess serves as a warning light at night to passing traffic.

Only just picked up my Enyaq yesterday, so still playing but i couldn't figure out in the manual accessed through the MySkoda app what the 'Automatic' setting in Ambient Lighting did. Can someone enlighten me please?

Looking at the manual, it reads that in automatic the lighting colour scheme change depending on what driving mode you choose. So green for eco, red for sport mode, etc..

Personally, I like to set it to an orange colour during this cold spell - psychologically it helps to create an illusion of warmth!

In the summer, I’ll change to blue - for the opposite effect :-)
