I don’t have wireless charging in my Enyaq but these little wireless chargers work very well with my iPhone SE and iPhone 11, and fit quite well. I do need to put two phones in at the same time to stop them falling off the charge spot, but I suppose with one, you could put something else on the other side to help keep the phone in place.

They’re plugged in with short USB C cables (30cm) which I had to buy separately.

About £15 each from Amazon.

Just curious as I've only used wireless charging once before, can I ask what the advantage is of wireless charging over just plugging the phone directly into the USB socket?

Not much really 🤣

Other than perhaps less stress on your expensive phones’ usb socket over time, as well as a little bit of convenience.

However it is not an efficient way of charging your phone it fry’s the phone battery just feel a phone that has been on the charge mat in the car and it’s red hot, plug it in and it stays cool heat is the enemy of all batteries.

I was a bit worried about that but my phones are just a bit warm, rather than hot.

Can’t you slid the wireless chargers under the rubber mat, then the mat would keep the phones in place

May be able to, but one phone case I had was too thick so I had to use a thinner case for wireless charging to work. If the wireless chargers are under the mat, I think it may add too much ‘material’ between the back of the phone and the charging surface, and adversely affect the charging. Plus I think the mat is glued down.

Also just as a side issue - anything metal on the case ( e.g. a stand or a magnetic plate) will likely prevent any type of wireless charger from working - possibly the Enyaq’s built in one too (which I think is in the convenience pack?)

Do we know what the rating of the USB C ports is in terms of Amp and Voltage BTW? Just wondering if the are slow/quick/rapid charging rates.

Might work for a well know charging company 😉

/\ usb c can support upto 100w in the right cable/application, but the ones in the car are probably 5 volt at 3amp (so 15w). Enough for a phone or tablet.
