Evening all, travelling to London from Ipswich in my new Enyaq60 and will need a charge on return! Anyone used the South Minns rapid charger ? Q1 what app is required, looked online and very confused. Q2 which app do most people trust re charging point locations etc. Thanks in advance - toffee king
Hi,
If I remember correctly, I think these are Gridserve. 30p per kW and you can use a normal contactless bank card with no registration required

I'm not sure on the route you are planning to take, or the part of london you are going to, but why not do a small 10-15min top up at the gridserve hub in Braintree (just off the A120), and then another one on the way back so you can get home?
It save faffing about with zap map and broken chargers.

It’s always worth using Zap-map (or ABRP or other apps) to find backup plans should your first choice of charging stop be busy or broken. Even if it’s maybe 10 miles off your route. There’s often a supermarket with a 50kW charger in a lot of larger towns for example.
Enyaq iV 80 Sportline, Energy Blue, Assisted Drive Plus, Infotainment Plus, Convenience Plus, Comfort Seat Plus, Transport Pack, Heat Pump, ME3.2, Built Nov 2021.
Download PodPoint app we have chargers at most larger tesco that include a Rapid 50kW normal rate is between 26p & 28p also have them at some Lidl stores too same charge I think.
60 Loft, Parking Basic Package, Moon White

Roo1980 - your time and effort is truly appreciated- I so wish I knew about this place last week. I will certainly use it as the location is perfect cut through to the M11. Many thanks again.Roo1980 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 4:16 am I'm not sure on the route you are planning to take, or the part of london you are going to, but why not do a small 10-15min top up at the gridserve hub in Braintree (just off the A120), and then another one on the way back so you can get home?
