I keep telling people that despite what Skoda call it. I don’t consider the Enyaq to be an SUV. I think of it as a large estate car or possibly crossover in the Subaru Legacy/Outback style. To me, an SUV is something like a Honda CRV, Land Rover Discovery or similar. High roofline, boxy, perhaps 4WD.

Then the other day I parked next to a Range Rover Evoque - and oh dear, the rear ends look quite similar don’t they? 😃

I’m just waiting for the day when one of those anti-SUV eco-loons start slashing tyres on things like Enyaq’s and IX3’s, because they assume they’re diesel 4x4’s !

By the way - you’d have to try REALLY hard to scuff the alloys on that Evoque!
iV80 Loft, Black, 21” Betria, 125kW, Climate Plus, Asst Drive Basic. Tethered PodPoint. Ordered May 2021. Delivered Nov 2021. Regrettably returned Jan 2024 (Company car. Changed jobs).

Kerb the impossible to kerb alloys, every day the car cones back with scuff marks on the masssssive side walls it's only time before the inevitable happens.

You should have seen the wheels Vega rims on our Sportline Karoq  every week it would come back and I'd see the tell tale white marks on the tyre.

it's not the rims' fault, it's the tyres usually, they don't have rim protections.
