Is it possible to retro fit the rear USB C without massive upheaval and £££ on various parts looms and trim bits ?

Anyone done it yet and if so spill the beans please ???

Yep I have done it for less than £10.00

I went for permanent live so I can charge things while the car is parked up

And an on and off switch

There was a discussion about this, with part numbers of the OEM parts a few weeks ago, might come up in a search. But the general consensus was that it's probably cheaper and easier to to it with aftermarket sockets as DazF05 did. You could probably find something that looks OEM but is a lot cheaper.

How'd you go about the install mate easy enough to get access, what did you take the power from ?

Any images of the installed ?

I ran the positive power behind the central trim beside the passenger seat up into the fuse box and piggybacked into a permanent live and the earth just bolted to the car with one of the screws holding down the central storage space

It was all really easy to do only 15 minutes work

Still don't understand why a nearly 50k car only has rear USB sockets as an option, but here is my alternative bodge, using a Belkin quad USB extension cable.

Starting in the cigarette socket in the boot....

Fed the cable down the inside of the boot liner.

tucked the cable under the squidy boot floor

and poked through and under the centre armrest
