First time encounter with an EV for a non-EV driver

Can I thoroughly recommend this blog page from a guy whose main aim is completing a walk round the British coastline. He's doing it in stages. This particular entry deals with his first ever encounter with an electric car, hired from Hertz, and the subsequent revelations about all the issues and problems we are so used to. And he's doing it in the remote West of Scotland.

It's a long read, but very interesting, and shows quite how far EVs and their infrastructure need to advance to make them acceptable to the majority of the public.
