Ah, Lookers didn’t want to give me any specifics, but I did fear that would happen to mine. Sounds likely mine will be delayed too! To be fair, when I ordered (early August), I was told 18-58 weeks, current company car lease runs out September 2024, but had the option to return up to a year early for no penalty so do t mind too much.

The 85 has exactly the same batteries as the 80.

The extra range is achieved by new motors and new battery management.
Wow, that was my bad. Clearly I have lost faith already and the misleading new model name did not help.

Don’t understand this long wait for Enyaq. Seen plenty of them on forecourt of local dealer.

Because they pre-ordered them ages ago would be my guess. They knew they would arrive eventually and wanted inventory to sell.

I ordered my Enyaq 80x Sportline plus from Skoda stock at the beginning of September, picked it up 2 weeks later. I'm not waiting months for them.

Getting mine on Salary sacrifice and spec'd what I wanted - I guess I could have had one off the shelf - but as it happens the timing suited me and it will be the first car I've spec'd myself and not one that was in stock.

At point of order I was quoted anywhere from 18 to 58 weeks. Think it’s the spec affecting the lead time for me too.
Well my spec is very basic. I was given the same outline weeks as you. Original estimate end of November. Same lease company and dealer. But my dates were Tusker order 22/6/23. LookersFleet 18/7/23. Which if I remember correctly were well before yours. Silver linings perhaps is we both might end up with a MY24. With needing a four will notice for build we’re both on at least KW44/45 at the earliest which is 24 territory.
Update: Following a conversation with Lookers on Friday they altered the dealer ETA on the Tusker system. It’s been moved from late November 23 to mid February 24. 😡
Just out of interest, have Lookers and/or Tusker confirmed you’ll be getting the 85 now?

I would be very surprised if you got a MY23 in Feb next year - they are starting the new MY builds from week 44 (2 weeks time) and it apparently takes about a month or so to arrive once built.

Please excuse my ignorance, as this is probably a daft question, but are we saying that there won’t be any MY24 80/80x built? So any MY24 would therefore be 85/85x even if an 80 or 80x was ordered initially?
