I have a skoda enyaq 85x sport line plus 2024 model.
Why ?
1. do I get random orange fault lights showing up on my dash? Including SOS light.

2. Yesterday whilst driving the car started juddering as if the ABS braking was kicking in but I was moving off from traffic lights. What is going on???

When there is snow (or something else) Infront of the camera...so the emergency assist breaking doesn't work...then I think the yellow sos ikon with a car on lights up.

Front camera at the top of your "radiator grill" does not clean when you operate the wipers like the other cameras do, you have to clean it manually, so if it gets dirty the car can throw up warnings.

No idea why your car would brake, unless it thought there was an obstacle you were in danger of hitting. Again could possibly be as a result of a dirty camera.

Hey, skku and Gary R, Thankyou both for your prompt reply.
I dont think I have a front camera, I only have a reversing camera on boot lid . I'm running 4.1 software version, so not sure if that needs updates.

Also worth considering whether you are experiencing 12v system issues. Low 12v battery voltage seems to cause a lot of random electrical issues, presumably because these systems are designed to operate at a minimum voltage. There appears to be number of enyaq drivers experiencing 12v issues at the moment, myself included - clearly made worse by colder whether dropping the 12v battery voltage lower temporarily. Seems to mostly be affecting 85/85x cars made this year (2024) so i suspect there may be an issue with the 12v battery or charging system on these particular vehicles.

I also sometimes (on rare occasions) lights related to the front assist systems on cold/damp days momentarily. It disappears after a few minutes driving. I put this down to some residual condensation on the sensors / camera which clear away once the car warms up a bit.

I dont think I have a front camera,
I think you should have, see picture below for its location (sorry for the awful quality it's the best I could find at short notice) not the same model as your car I know, but as far as I'm aware it's the same as for other models (I have a 80 Sportline Plus, and that's where it is on mine) it's a bit harder to see on a black "radiator grill" which is why I chose the vRS picture to illustrate ....

  :o Hi buddy, just checked and I don't have the front camera nor the side parking sensors(6 at front, 6 are rear). I have a rear camera with 4 parking sensors at front and 4 at back.
Although it's a 2024 enyaq sport line plus 85x. I hope they haven't given me an older model or missed some of the standard equipment which should be included with this spec model.

No idea why that is, as far as I'm aware, 85x comes with 6 front and rear, and should have a camera on the radiator grill. Hopefully someone else may know differently, and be able to tell you why.

My 2023 80 Sportline Plus comes with 4 sensors front and rear, but I thought all the 85x models came with 6 front and rear.

The side sensors are only needed if you have the trained parking and auto-lane change options. In the old days I’d call that ‘Park Assist Plus’ and ‘Travel Assist’ - but I suspect now it means Maxx package.
If I was on my laptop not my phone at work I’d check the brochure 🙂
Enyaq iV 80 Sportline, Energy Blue, Assisted Drive Plus, Infotainment Plus, Convenience Plus, Comfort Seat Plus, Transport Pack, Heat Pump, ME3.2. Delivered Nov 2021.
On order: Enyaq iV 85 vRS Maxx, Race Blue, Transport Pack, Heat pump. Expected Jan 2025.
