I've had an Enyaq iV 80 since the 1st May. All has been well until last Saturady.
Then, when starting the Enyaq, it failed to make connection with the online services. It tried for about a minute, and then gave up with the message that it had failed to connect. The message had to be dismissed by touching the OK acknowledgement button before the Home screen could be shown.
Since then, it has failed to connect each time it has tried to make a connection.
As a result, some of the Driver Assist systems are no longer available, and the Comfort driving mode is also not available.
Anyone else seen this, or knows what the cause and solution might be? Thanks.
Enyaq Fails to Connect with Online Services
Hi there,
Wow, you're already 6 weeks into ownership - I guess you might be outside the UK & I ?
Does your local dealership know about this problem? Might be worth asking them and make it their responsibility to look into it for you....
Cheers !

iV80 Loft, Black, 21” Betria, 125kW, Climate Plus, Asst Drive Basic. Tethered PodPoint. Ordered May 2021. Delivered Nov 2021. Regrettably returned Jan 2024 (Company car. Changed jobs).
I don't even have a build date for mine yet so this is pure guessing
Other vehicles that I have owned that are connected online have had a sim card of some description. This could be built in (an esim) or a normal card like you would put in your mobile phone. My first guess would be to try to locate that and check it is correctly seated.
As I say, pure guesswork on my part

It's an eSIM unfortunately, so not so easy as reseating a physical card, I'm afraid...Pict wrote: ↑Tue Jun 15, 2021 10:30 am Other vehicles that I have owned that are connected online have had a sim card of some description. I had successfully added my Enyaq into the Skoda Connect app, and all was well until last Saturday. Now, the content of the app is frozen with the status of the car as of last Saturday. Clearly, the Enyaq is not phoning home any more...
Today, the Enyaq is back online again. I haven't done anything, so I don't know why it was failing to connect for the past four days. The app is now being updated again with the current status of the car.
However, I'm still missing the Comfort driving mode from the menu...

Hi everybody, sorry for my bad English
Yesterday I lost connection while refueling my car at home. In the evening I tried to start the car and I got the message "Caricamento dello stato del collegamento in corso…" . I think the English translation it's kind of "connection status loading...".
I tried to get in contact with my car dealer, but I'm still waiting for the reply (got none).
I'm wondering why it's impossible to understand the reason of the error. Is the internet connection broken or is just the server not responding?
