Hi All,

New to the forum. Ordered a Enyaq about 3 weeks ago. Still waiting on a production slot. I was hoping for a slot by now even if the slot was a year away! How are other people's VRS orders progressing?

Currently run a MK7.5 Golf R that's tuned to take RON99... so with fuel prices climbing, it's become cheaper to lease an Enyaq VRS and pay the electricity as opposed to pay the petrol on the same miles I do every month. We also have a dog and are hoping for a child soon, so the increased space would be great. Stopping regularly to charge doesn't seem like an issue to me - we have to stop every 2-3 hours to let the dog do its business... which seems to be about how long you can drive before the car tells you that you need to recharge.

I think you only get a build week a few weeks before.

As above you won't get a production slot untill it's confirmed you will however get confirmation from your dealer and an order number once the factory have added you to the waiting list.

Not sure what it is now but I've had customers tell me 52 weeks wait for enyaqs now (I work for Pod Point)

As above, you'll get a status 00 once it's a confirmed order (ought to be within a month or so), but it won't change to status 10 until a build week is allocated, normally 2-3 months ahead of build.

Codes as follows:
Status: Meaning
00: Without Production Week
10: With Production Week
20: With Production Order
30: In Transit From Factory
36: In Port of Exit not Released
38: In Port of Exit Released
39: Vehicle Shipped
40: UK Port
60: In Transit to Dealer
70: At Dealer

Hmmm... four months in for me, and still at pending...

I get the impression they go from pending to confirmed 00 when they're about to go to production week (10). Might be wrong? But then nothing is certain at the moment!

Yes, thanks for the list, really helpful. Ordered at the beginning of December and still showing as not accepted, my original quoted lead time was 22 weeks but looks like that’s just dreamland at the moment. Dealer doesn’t really know much more than me.

Hi, I ordered a Coupe VRS today so I'm being told anything between 40 weeks and a year ! Will keep you posted as and when I hear anything...
