Adding the Enyaq to Octopus Intelligent
How I managed to finally switch to Intelligent Octopus
My details:
Enyaq 60 (running ME 3.2)
Pod point 7kW charger
The problem:
Like so many others, I couldn't get past the point of the Octopus app not finding the car when trying to switch plans.
The solution(s):
1. Adding location access from within the Skoda's settings (I only had to do this for my account, not for my wife's)
2. Adding a home charging location from within the Skoda's settings
3. Paying £13 to renew the 'Care Connect - Remote Access' service.
I think #3 may have been the main thing creating the problem. I had further problems trying to pay for this in the app and resorted to using the Skoda Connect website. Once I paid, and the app registered the update to the Care Connect service, the switching process let me move along to the next step.
