wifi won't turn on

Hello,

I just recently bought a secondhand Enyaq and it has the ME3 update on it. I however can't seem to get Android auto to work wirelessly. It says i need to turn on wifi but that doesnt work when i tap the slider. Any ideas?

Have you tried doing a factory reset through the settings menu ?

Yes a couple times and there is no update available either

Tried hard resetting the info tainment system by pulling the relevant fuse ?

Try going into vehicle settings with the phone switched off or in airplane mode go to WiFi settings and delete any devices shown also turn off hotspot . Delete any CarPlay s /android auto skoda linked devices from phone . Then try to pair from phone not the car . The app will automatically turn off WiFi when in CarPlay/android auto mode

So the problem sorted itself. I drove around the UK mainland (i live in a remote area) and android auto started to connect wireless to my phone out of the blue. Been working fine since. Almost like i had to connect to the cars home network for it to work

Hi.
I live in Iceland an have the exactly same problem as Rick mentioned.
I have I an Iphone and wanted to use Carplay, but I can't turn the WIFI on, the slider button always slides back to off.
I have already tried all of your suggestions.
Do you think I need to have active data plan subscription? It seems that Cubic Telecom (Skoda data plan provider) is not supported here in Iceland.
Any more suggestions?
