Several days of using the new App now (after I realised it was a new App not an update to the old App which also exists!). The new App does look nicer and has a several gimmicky but welcome aspects such as showing rear of car when plugged in and green cable when charging. BUT it is way slower and sometimes info just doesn’t show even after 5 minutes! This slowness applies to any area of the App - sometimes charge status, other times door/window lock status, and other times target temperature. In fact usually one aspect is very slow and / or doesn’t show. Two steps forward and three steps back?

This hasn't been my experience - in general I have found it to be much faster and more responsive.

The only element that has failed whilst I've been using it is the Vehicle Status, but when that happened I fired up the old app to check and it was not available in that app too (only it was much slower to get there).

This is a new one to me - new app is convinced my phone is not connected to the internet! Old app (currently) working fine:

Tried killing and relaunching app, turning off WiFi, turning it back on.

I'm sure it'll work again at some point, but whatever they are using for internet access check isn't working!

Back for me again. But weird that it only affected the new app.

I have a feeling that the km/miles conversion thing was an issue back in 2021 in the early days of the old app, but it didn't affect everyone (didn't affect mine for example). So I wonder if they made the same mistake on the new app? There were some other LHD/RHD issues early on - like selecting to heat the driver's seat would heat the passenger seat on a UK car, but worked fine on European (ie LHD) cars.

I've had a response from Skoda Support to say the problem is in the car software (Mine is 3.0.0/0333). Is your car still pre ME3.0 (0795)? You might not have the problem.

They said the fix would be in the next update, which I'm assuming is the 3.1/3.2 OTA update, which was promised for Q1, then Week 17, and now they don't have a firm date to give.

If it is, then the 3.1 OTA update must be different from the 3.1 from factory, as this is an issue I have too!

Hopefully when you get your 3.1 or 3.2 update with the fix, we'll get a minor update with the same fix!

I would expect my vrs built in Feb would have the latest software, but it still has this error in range display when car is offline.
As other apps display the same error when car is asleep it suggests the error is in the Skoda server.
