Plug & Charge works at Ionity chargers through the Octopus Electroverse account, once set up. It does not work with domestic chargers.

The 60, 85 and Coupe 85 and Coupe 85x now appear on the compatible cars list for Intelligent Octopus Go

Hi. 85 is selectable on the compatibility check but fails as it’s not compatible yet.

I would be interested to hear how you get on with intelligent charging. I am having mixed results despite following the best advice on here regarding the plug-in process. Trying to determine if it is an 85 specific issue or related to other known issues.

Did the test charge with a granny. Tried my wall charger last night. Didn’t work and the car was effectively off line in the MyŠkoda app. However it will boost charge from octopus just after you plug in. You only need a smart charger once a month so I may fiddle that. For the rest of the month I might schedule the car to pull a charge during the 1130 to 530 period

My test charge with wallbox (BG SyncEV) went fine, I suspect the test does not include the circumstances that trigger the issue.

I find that a couple of minutes after being told to stop charging, the car decides it is no longer plugged in. It then ignores intelligent commands and prevents charging being manually initiated in both the Octopus and MySkoda apps. Waking the car up makes it reassess, which enables manual app control. Opening the MySkoda app will wake the car (automatic wake-up setting) but is limited to 3 times a day, so no using the app during the day! Unlocking the car obviously wakes the car, but at the expense of flooding the area with courtesy(!) lighting and clearing the intelligent schedule. I find that pressing the lock button wakes the car whilst keeping the lights off and does not clear the schedule.

I have had some success waiting until intelligent charging is supposed to start, seeing it has failed (no green light!) then waking the car and starting manually in MySkoda. Octopus continues with the schedule, but depending on slot length and gaps, further failures may occur. My next test will be to wake the car just before Octopus want to start charging, but that won't be for a few days
