Total loss of drive problems

Total loss of drive train power occurred whilst drive on a dual carriageway. Fortunately we were just passing a junction and were able to pull off into the slip road. The car proceeded to cycle through every warning possible. After about 15mins of this the car then returned to normal. We proceeded to drive another 20mins. Just as we pulled in a Tesla Supercharger site, again total drive power was lost about 10metres from the charger! The car again cycled through multiple warning. In addition this time the front motor produced a load noise which appeared to cycle ever 15 secs. AA were called and were unable to restart the car. AA laptop showing many faults. 12v was charged with no change. Eventually all power was lost. Vehicle was recovered.

Skoda update software to 3.2 plus a new battery was fitted at nearest Skoda garage the next day.

3 weeks later at home, similar has issue occurred. No drive plus cycling through faults. AA called unable to attend till tomorrow. Hour later tried to again. Car reverted to normal. Drove car on to the road awaiting AA/recovery tomorrow.

Dangerous loss of power on busy dual carriageway was concerning.
