11kw charging AC, could it be increased to 22kw?

We have lots of 22kw chargers yet Enyaq can only attain 11kwh AC, can it be feasible increased or is that our whack?
Also at the 50kwh chargers there are 46kwh AC, take it these only peak at 7 kwh in Enyaq?

I used a 46 kw AC type 2 charger last week and I got 11kw max. It’s a shame it’s not higher as I was only using it because the DC 50kw was out of order…the type 2 connections seems to be more reliable and working more at public chargers

It’s down to the AC to DC converter fitted to the car as it is rated at 11kw

Has this been confirmed to be a hardware limit or is it possible of a firmware update down the line like the CCS upping from 100 to 125 etc ?

My limited understanding of this is, it's a hardware restraint. To get 22kw, an additional onboard charger would need to be installed to take the 11kw up to 22kw, or a 22kw charger installed. This can be done within the VW group at the time of building the car with Porsche and Audi:
