Keep car running (heating) when not in it?

Hi all. Quick one. How do I keep the heating or air conditioning on when I am not in the drivers seat? Let’s say I want to pop into the shop and let the kids in the car for a few minutes. My Enyaq always turns off. Thanks.

I’m not sure how to leave the car cooling whilst occupied, but I’ll worry about that one in the summer

Do you think it's clever enough to change the icon when it's hotter outside than in?

I wonder if you’ve seen that in the manual?

That’s a shame - would be a cool feature if that’s how it works. Meanwhile I’m still yet to get around to opening the manual!

I think the icon should be labelled ‘climate control on now’ as it almost certainly will cool as well as heat. But there’s not enough room for all those letters.
I used to pre-cool my Outlander quite often. Very handy with black leather seats in the middle of summer.
