My Enyaq just been in for two weeks to have this investigated. The mechanic had a credible explanation. The heater is run from the 'drive' battery (ie the HV battery) and there was an issue with the control module of the heater which showed up as a fault connected with the drive. They replaced the heater (as the control module is integral with the heater) and that cleared the fault. Why did it take 2 weeks? They needed a replacement heater and a piece of kit to power down /safely disconnect the main battery to allow them to get at the heater. This register with anyone else that's had this looked at?

Exactly my experience. No further error messages relating to the electric drive after the PTC heater was replaced 2000 miles ago.

Update - Had the car back 3 weeks now and all is good (Touch wood, fingers crossed etc.) Had a couple of front assist errors in the morning but they clear after a mile or two. On the whole starting to regain confidence in the car.

The courtesy Enyaq had some options mine didn't, which I miss a little, but it also was missing a couple of things mine has, so on balance, I think I spent my budget in the right places.

Lets see how things go from here - I'll be contacting Skoda Customer Services with my experience regardless.

have my 80 since August and now, after 7000 miles, have that warning message...
Triangle is yellow.. everything seems to be working fine, the only thing I've noticed is that the AC it's not heating. Not sure if it's related to this fault. This happened 4 or 5 days after I got a message to do an update, which I did.
Coincidence??... I turned off the AC but still, the message did not go away.
I did call the dealer and next Monday they will connect the car to the diagnostic machine.
Anything you can help with? Can I drive the car with this yelow triangle?

Considering the first post in this thread is over a year old I'm very surprised that this problem is still going on! 5 weeks after delivery and 1100 miles on the clock I got the dreaded electric drive not working message and no heat from the heater! I took it to my local dealer (leicester) only to be told it would be 8 weeks before they could get me in just to diagnose! I asked if it was safe to drive and they just shrugged their shoulders! So I rang skoda assist on the dealers advisement and within 2 hours he'd been and diagnosed the problem, booked a hire car and arranged collection of my enyaq to a dealer. Car is now in the workshop having the part fitted. This begs the question, what is it exactly that they replace the faulty part with as I would of thought that after over a year later they would be fitting new cars with the new updated heater part that is replacing old faulty ones?

Hi, I have reported this here before. I had this issue early in February, about 13500 mls, both the amber drive message and the Red 12V battery message and alarms. AA man sent me home, messages still there following morning AA escorted me to garage, (In forest of Dean). Can was there for 10 days. Changed charge regulator and Inverter which charged the 12V battery. Fault said inverter was overheating. Not had problem since.
Residual problem since has been that I have not been able to charge from public charger with CCS connector since. Tried 4 chargers on return trip from midlands, all connected ok but didn't add charge. Got to Dealer with 5mls left. Changed on their 7kW no problem, no faults found.
This week trip back from Devon, Osprey 75kW CCS charge connected, no power added. Next one had type 2 connector, connected and charged ok, albeit at only 12kW, when marked 43kW. Gave it 10mins disconnected, tried CCS on same charger, connected but failed. Lucky I didn't need the charge, just testing.
Car charges at home 7kW now problem and trusty grannie cable when travelling.
Expecting phone call with Skoda Customer Services this afternoon.

I’ve just got the same issue. I’ve had no problems with the car at all. It just had its 2 year service and the error appeared the day after I got it home!
Skoda assist (AA) escorted me to the dealer where I have been told it ‘may take some time to fix’. Currently waiting on a courtesy car.

My Enyaq was delivered last Monday with 7 miles on it. Took the delivery drivers word everything was okay. After he left I started the car to be greeted by a warning light and the Electric Drive not working correct message. Called Skoda Assist out who confirmed it was the battery coolant pump and told me to drive to my local dealership to get it replaced. Was told by the engineer Skoda have a service bulletin out about this and this is happening a lot with VW’s, Audi’s and Skoda’s. It gets an air lock in the pipes which burns out the motor. They have to bleed the system twice to see if it fixes it, if not it needs replacing. The dealer told me they have had to replace a few pumps on new cars when they do the pre delivery inspection. Also explained the part number had changed so there is a new manufacturer of the pump as they are having so many issues.
