Today was very hot (32°C) and the message in the title of the thread has been present all day from first switching on the car. Drove 140 miles with no apparent problem other than the message on the dash. Hoping the error goes away tomorrow! Car is quite new - only done 900 miles when error first appeared. S/Ware version 3.0. It's very efficient, doing about 4.5 miles/kWh.
Update: it is now the day after and the error message is still there. Will see what the workshop says.
Update 2: "Bring it in and we will have a look" - in 11 days time!
Update 3: Said to need a new PTC heater. It will be a further 8 days till this comes (best prediction and far longer than originally told), so the car will have been unavailable to me for 27 days by then. Presently missing the centre console and parts of dash so I cannot drive it for now. Pretty disappointed really.
Update 4: After only 3 days I had a surprise call from the workshop to say it is all fixed, by provision of a new PTC heater. Tried it out with temperature set to 28° - it's volcanic. So, for now, all seems OK.

Update 5: Still working correctly 3 months later. However last month the infotainment was faulty for 3 days. All functions lost initially then gradually returned to normal.

We only had the car for two weeks 150miles and the warning light came on so took it to the dealers. That was over three weeks ago! Need a new heating unit but not due until September. Considering rejecting the car as we saw it yesterday at the dealers. Totally stripped out, no seats, no dashboard, no nothing. Bits in the boot all over the place. It is sitting outside open to all the elements whist we are filling a courtesy car with petrol! We are not happy with Skoda UK or the current situation. The dealership has been OK offering a courtesy car and keeping in touch but really not acceptable for a car worth £40k to go wrong within two weeks! Even when it is fixed (fingers crossed it will be) it won't be "as new" due to the fact that it has been dismantled since leaving the factory. We are undecided what to do at the moment.

Joining the club in this here.. car delivered and showing this error to delivery driver. Skoda took it back and updated software, claimed that fixed it. Happened again yesterday and had to sit in traffic for 2 hours till Skoda assist deigned to turn up.. had one of the messages saying about the electric drive overheating, so maybe that will point them in the heating unit direction? Crossing my fingers but undecided to do.. car has only done about 190miles excluding delivery mileage🤬😞

4 days of ownership and sat on the drive exploring menus Sunday evening, and up pops the "Electric drive not working correctly. Please visit workshop" warning! Get up for work Monday and it's cleared, 40 mile trip to work with no problems, so I put it on charge ready for trip to Clitheroe from mid Wales. Full charge so I move the car to load up and after a few seconds there's a soft clunk from the rear of the car (a bit like the ICE kicking in on my Outlander) and the warning re-appears - I had to drive as far as Charnock Services with the warning on & no ACC or traction control, however there was no loss of performance or other issues. After charging to 80% it's gone again. I completed my journey, overnight stay & home again, work again this morning without it reappearing. Unloaded the car and moved it; clunk from the rear of the car and the warning re-appears again - Aaaaaarrrrgghhh! - 11 months wait and now it'll probably have to go back in!

3 days at the dealership, and they recon it's the AC compressor - Part is on back order with no delivery date and the car cannot be driven apparently! Family visiting from Australia on the weekend and I've got a Seat Ibiza to drive them around in! Absolutely F*%#ing livid!

Update - 18 days at the dealership - Part arrived, CO2 arrived, however, the equipment the dealer sourced to recharge my heat pump system is faulty! On the plus side, the Seat Ibiza courtesy car has been replaced with their Enyaq demonstrator; almost identical to mine - Same colour and only one digit different in registration. Awaiting update on when functioning equipment will be available.
